Last year, my great-aunt objected to my massive chops, and insisted I shave. I was rather reluctant to (I was going to go to the US, and the muttonchops were in my Passport photograph), but when I was in referee training, Lance Storm said that referees should not be remarkable, but rather blend into the background. The next day, I showed up cleanshaven, and the entire class had to take a second look to recognize me.

Nope, if I'm noticeable, I'm doing my job wrong. Sort of like the guy running the soundboard, if people look at him, usually he's done something wrong.
