I personally like Livestream more.

I prefer Livestream more. Join.Me rarely works for me, and when it does, it's laggy and the quality is pretty bad.

I honestly like Join.me for the same reasons you said EXCEPT the fact that there is no sound included and the screen is choppy when the hoster scrolls on the canvas or watches a video, etc. :c So I would have to say Livestream as an alternative, if not Join.me. ^^

i like join.me for the reasons listed and also because personally it doesnt clog up my bandwidth nearly as much as livestream does. not to mention it can be convenient for artists that do stream commissions and requests and such because you can send files directly to other users on the stream (though unfortunately i kind of forgot how to do it :v)

though the lack of sound can be irritating at points

then again livestream is also handy for things other than art, such as streaming movies, and the 2d double display thing is a handy tool for people that are voice actors and such.

altogether i'm kind of on neutral grounds

(though i have become accustomed to join.me as livestream was blocked on my network for a period of time due to bandwidth problems i believe. shrug)

I like Livestream better. The chat system is just easier. Plus people like to hear us banter while you doodle.

I have only used Livestream. But I dont usually watch drawings. I "watch" a music mixer. Since he is making music, i dont need to view it to know what's going on, so I can work on my drawings elsewhere as I listen. But again, I have only ever used Livestream. No opinions on the others, but I enjoy Livestream, seems to work fine enough for me.

waaaay better, less lag, higher resolution, sadly the chat is a little difficult, you have to be in the stream to see the chat, easily solved by hosting a teamspeak server to use for chat, oooor use the "inspect element" option in google chrome to delete everything but chat,
its a little more difficult to set up, but if you can get a lot of viewers its a lot better

Livestream or join.me... I don't like Ustream because you have to register to chat, I've never watched justin.tv

I usually use joinme, but only because i dont really know how to use livestream and joinme seems less likely to make sai crash
and also like avy said it is nice to be able to hear people

I like join.me because of the ease of use; I actually haven't had significant problems with it. Would be nice if it streamed audio as well though, I want to inflict my taste in music on others as well as draw D= I tried with Livestream but it never worked out properly and seemed like a lot to mess with. The chat system on Livestream is indeed better though.

Livestream is good if you have a fast computer and internet connection, as a host in livestream I had problems with my computer overheating and losing connection, the good part is you can turn the microphone on, share music, personalize your page, and you always have the same link to the stream.
As for join me it's a lot easier to use, you can have unlimited people on the chat and watching, but there's no sound ssharing besides the "phone" option (which I haven't tried...
and I haven't been in any of the other websites you've named

livestream honestly is better for mac computers. join me is my alternative cause my computer doesnt have enough MB to handle livestream

Varies with how you intend to run the livestream, really. Do you prefer leaving the chat for watchers to prattle on or do you plan to join in? Is it more convenient to respond verbally or typing? I've never used Ustream before. Over all, I do prefer Livestream but the only other deciding factor between that and Join.me is which is capable of running smoothly with members able to watch. If you can run Livestream, it has more plus sides than Join.me does.

livestream. just because i think it's a little easier to control and i haven't had much luck with other streaming programs.

Livestream. Join.Me covers the screen when you click to chat, plus it has no sound. I haven't figured out Livestream yet, which is why I've yet to use it for any. . . recorded drawings. My computers run both Livestream and Join.Me fine, but I don't know about the others.
