I have been attending college in California for the past two years but I heard about this recently. Pretty crazy how someone who was a camp counselor for under privileged children, got outstanding grades and was enrolled in one of the best PhD neuroscience programs in the country would decide to go haywire and shoot up a theater full of people. Even more so that he wired his apartment with explosives to deter police from entering. Some people can be pretty unpredictable.

The guy was heavily drugged. You can also notice he's drugged in his court appearance

First off, all the news articles indicate is that he "appeared to be sedated". There isn't any solid evidence indicating that he was. It could be so many other things causing that (ie, maybe he is so worried about the huge mess he got himself into that he hasn't been sleeping well the past few days). It's never a good idea to take an assumption and write it off as fact.

Not only that, if someone was having a drug trip (not on sedatives which mellow you out but some sort of narcotic that makes one have violent outbursts such as long term meth use). I can't imagine him tripping out on sedatives is what cause this. And even if he was on some form of recreational narcotics, a drug trip wouldn't cause him to plan out an elaborate attack that involves him attempting to get lessons from a shooting range, order weapons, tactical gear and ammunition online and go to the trouble of producing explosives to rig his apartment with.

We'll remember there folks for a very long time. Let peace befall everyone touched by this tragity.

However! this is a rather fishy thing. I don't think this was an accident. I think it was planned further than just a mass murder. I think it might have been a government controlled murder. a shooting just HAPPENS to occur right before the signing of the law to ban firearms? I don't think so. And a real murderer would have shot up several police officers not immediately stop and surrender as if to say MISSION ACCOMPLISHED. Didn't the FBI arrive a little too early? think people have died to get a law passed is all!

P.s. Me, kythar and kiara will miss matt he was our friend but he died honorably protecting his girlfriend. Matt you will be missed rest in peace bro.

I'm still shocked at everything that's happened. Its devastating what happened to those innocent men, women, and children. I use to live in south Aurora and went to the Century 16 theater before. My prayers and condolences go out to everyone affected by this tragedy.

And please don't give into the attention James Holmes craves. Take this time to remember the families and friends whose lives have been changed forever from a night that was supposed to be spectacular. Remember, but forget as well.

The only reason for things like this to happen, is the corruption of the minds of those who do these things. Where this comes from is a matter for all of us to consider. But for now, lets help the survivors, morn and celebrate those who are gone.
