I'm looking for a newbie, a very low level.

nah just to go on missions and such with, it's no fun if all I can do is poke the enemies while someone else tanks all the damage. XD

though, now that I think of it, could helping you kill MUCH higher enemies then me lvl me up faster?

I believe they have a system which allows you to grind alongside higher or lower level players and still receive experience appropriate for your rank. What it does is scale your abilities and weapons etc to match the basic level of the area you are grinding in with a higher leveled friend. Or vice versa, their abilities and equipment are scaled down to match your level. Its only a temporary thing, obviously, but it means you can grind anywhere with that system, effectively. It doesnt work solo, though.

yes i used that, at first we didn't know about it and a ship hit mine with a single shot, blowing it up, shields and all.
I'm not in it for the exp only though, and i'd prefer someone who was also new at the game so we could learn it together.

I can understand, its always nice to be with a fellow newblet. Especially when you bring down an enemy too tough to solo, that gives such immense satisfaction.
