I lost another rat today....

I noticed she was getting skinner not too long ago and figured it was age. When it got more rapid I poked her tummy and she had a massive tumor. Brought her to the vet on Monday where the vet confirmed she had not one but two massive uterine tumors.

We decided not to put her down because she was still active, eating, drinking and being a derpbutt. She seemed happy and was still climbing about. The tumors were getting progressively bigger and I knew it wouldn't be long until she passed. I had her out with me last night and she still seemed perfectly happy and content.

I come home tonight, and after being let in by the maintenance guy because I forgot my key, I came into my room to notice her on the bottom of the cage. I knew right then and there she had passed. I wish I was here to comfort her when she passed on...

I've lost two rats in exactly a week..
