Slow progress, and a commission idea.....

Although I don't have much to report, I thought it might be nice to mention that I'm still here and still working on the previous commission clients. Plus I'm tired of looking at my old journal. Projects are coming along slowly, but I am dedicating my weekends to finishing these up. Thanks very much for your patience :)
In regard to opening a new commission queue after I've attended to everyone who signed up previously, I won't have any news until this winter, when I see how my time off plays out. However, I did have a thought as to how I might go about future commissions.....the problem now is that I'll only have a couple of months off work to do them, and I'd really like to avoid having them flow over into my full time job (which is what's happening now). So I could make them more structured, set into regimented projects that all take about the same time as opposed to taking in whatever comes my way.
I might decide to offer spots in a group scene. Let's say, for instance, I'm going to do a full-color picnic stuffing scene with 6 or 7 characters. People could sign up to have one of their characters in the scene for maybe $25 or $30 (a full color character from me now typically costs $50). I would handle the background and placement and such, you would just provide your character's description and any relevant notes, like how large you wanted him expanded, or say, "My guy likes this one, can you show them feeding each other", and so forth. Then when completed, each person who paid would get a nice sized file via e-mail or whatnot, which you'd be free to post in your gallery if you wanted. No character would be obstructed or off in the distance, they'd all be in the foreground, but you wouldn't have much of a say in how everything was organized, that would kind of be a surprise. There might be clean ones and adult ones, possibly two scenes a month. Would anyone participate in something like that? Or are there any other suggestions that you'd like to make?
Again, thanks so much to everyone who has watched me this past month! *shakes paws*
When will there be more of this?
A word about my commissions: I get a lot of similar questions about the pictures I post here and on my site; people ask if I'm going to continue a certain comic series or take the project from line art to color in the near future. Please, read the description of the image; if it's listed as a "commission", that means someone paid me to draw it for them. I personally had nothing to do with the characters or what's happing in the picture/comic, I just drew what was described for me. If the person paid for 3 comic pages, we did 3. If they paid for line art only, that's what I did for them. I'm truly flattered that folks are so keen on these pieces, but it's not up to me in any way to make more for the set or scenario. If there is to be more added to a project, it's up to the person who bought it to commission more.
And in regard to making additions as a request instead of a commission, I regret that my financial situation will not allow me to take requests at this time. I can't even get my own projects done right now.
