I'll ask if you know this SecreT because I didn't find it until a couple months back but in SAI and and right above the opacity bar for the layer is the blend mode bar that is set to "normal" be default, if you change it to "multiply" and keep it as the top layer the image doesn't have to be a SAI format for you to start colouring it.

Or an even better idea... Top of Sai there is layer, and near the middle bottom is a lum to transparency option. It makes the white go away and leaves the black ^^ so you end up with lines that can be colored under

I know that, but usually png or jpg files are small and get fuzzy and when converted again look a bit odd, dunno, just feel more confortable with normal program files

This sounds like an intriguing prospect. I think my girl is real talented. I'll link her to this and see if she feels up to doing anything offhand depending on what you feel like. I suggest you take a look and see if you think her style is worth working with. Though artists like Wolfy-Nail, DCRabbit, Ebonyleopard, Furball, and Os that I remember off the top of my head did think she was good enough to watch and favorite some of her work that appealed to their taste. So I'm fairly certain you''ll find the style pleasing to the eye. Dani loves feedback so I bet she'll look forward to what you think.
