Further Confusion 2023: Millennium Edition
When you think of retro-futurism, nothing comes to mind better than old cheesy movies and deep detailed writings. We have decided to make an open call to all the talented artists and writers in our community to submit your furry version of retro science fiction!
For those who draw:
Take an old retro science fiction movie poster, such as The Forbidden Planet, work your magic to make it as furry as you can, slap on the text "The Furbidden Planet" "FC 2013/Furcon2013/Further Confsuion2013", and submit it to the space cadets over at Marketing. We will take our favorites and print them up at movie poster size for display at Further Confusion 2013! All others will get placed on a dedicated webpage on our site for everyone to check out such as some of the items here on our FurAffinity page.
For those who write:
Write us a great piece of original furry retro-futuristic science-fiction. Try to keep it under 10 pages and acceptable for all ages. Submit your work to the space cadets over at Marketing. We will take our favorites and print them up and place them in the convention space for interested parties to read. If you want to design a cover, we can print that as well. All others will get placed on a dedicated webpage on our site for everyone to see!
All participants will get collectable FurCon swag, as well as proper accreditation for their hard work. Make your subject line "The Furbidden Planet" for an expedited process . Further questions should be submitted to marketing@furtherconfusion.org.

Deadline for stories is December 1.
Deadline for art is October 1, if you wish to also be considered for the convention booklet. Otherwise the deadline is December 1.
