After giving blood, they often give you a number to call in case of severe bruising. It's never happened to me, but it's better to be on the safe side You should call them.

No, they didn't give me any phone numbers... They looked so professional and stuff that I didn't think twice of them.
As I mentioned, I'll go to a clinic tomorrow and have it looked at, I personally don't think it's all that serious but I don't wanna be a one armed bandit. >.<

Tranc, you didn't mention if you were in pain, which would be the main thing. Bruising after an injection is normal, but the time to worry comes if you're noticing increasing pain (like a sting) or a sensation of numbness or like the feeling in the area is wrong. If it's just the look of it that has you concerned, by all means have it checked but don't worry in the meanwhile. If you're in pain or going numb, though, get it checked immediately, without delay. I certainly hope you'll be fine!

Well, now that you mention it, I am not in pain and I don't feel numb... I feel like it's a bruise, as if I got hit with something hard and blunt. It only hurts when I put pressure on it.
So if it starts hurting for no reason or I can't feel the arm anymore, then I have to go to the hospital?

Honestly, I think you'll be fine, but yes if it started stinging or if the pain started increasing instead of leveling out (like you were trying to live your life and the injection site started throbbing or hurting without being touched) that would tend to mean nerve damage or infection. Numbness would also be nerve damage. But yes, it's normal for it to be sore if you press on it, and it will probably form a big purple spot around the place you got jabbed, then over the next few days the purple will go to brownish then yellow, then faaaaaade away. :3

The thing to watch for is that it doesn't get WORSE somehow. As long as it's feeling better all the time it's just the normal healing process and there's not much to worry about.
