Well not really... I kept my clothes on.
Yeah, part of the reason is probably because it's an election year and they want the support, but its one that I can definitely get behind. What this means is that the official democratic platform is to support LGBT rights in congress, that means that getting states to vote through same sex marriage legalization and protection laws for LGBT people just got a HUGE kick forward... at least in states with a lot of democratic politicians but it also means that they'll now help block legislation that would hurt us as well in red states.
Still, going to be an interesting next few years for us.
