Gauging Interest - Fursuit building "classes?"
I've been rolling an idea around in my head for a little while now, and I wanted to get some feedback to gauge interest.
Streaming fursuit-building classes. Basically, I would announce ahead of time what the date and time is (probably on a weekend), and give a list of supply items that you will need to complete the project. When the day comes, I get on ustream and walk the group through the process, start to finish, and you build the pieces along with me. I'd stop periodically to answer questions and such.
Would you be interested in participating if it were free and geared towards beginners?
What about more advanced classes?
Would you be interested in participating if you had to pay to 'attend?'
EDIT:
One other question: If you'd be interested, what sort of things would you be most interested in learning?

i would also be interested in paying for advanced "classes" if my funds allowed it.
Absolutely! I've really been itching to try my hand at building a suit, but to have someone with lots of experience help me every step of the way would be amazing!
What about more advanced classes?
Yes! You don't become a master just by learning the basics.

I would say perhaps keep the basic classes free, and the more advanced ones be paid, since there are a lot of resources for the basics out there already. That being said, I would pay to attend, yes.

sculpting to give character, getting the best vision and ventilation possible, and learning how to properly pattern.
If you'd like suggestions for topics let me know. I've had to train a few folks locally.
A reply here is fine--this is all still up in the air. :) Thanks!

Yeah totally! I have basic sewing skills, but I sort of don't know where to start when it comes to making anything related to a fursuit. I've read tutorials, but I'm so much more a visual learner that having a Skype/stream session would be better for me to learn.
What about more advanced classes?
Depends how quickly I pick up the basics. ^^ But if I did reasonably quickly, then totally.

I second what another user suggested and have the basics for free and the more advanced classes have a cost. It seems fair to you since you're almost giving up trade secrets to get something in return! I couldn't tell you how much I would say would be a "fair" price for this. Maybe it depends on what you're teaching or how valuable you view the lesson?
If you'd be interested, what sort of things would you be most interested in learning?
Oh, I dunno... making paws would be number one on my list, then things like casting claws/teeth/eyes, airbrushing or sewing the fine details, making hair or wigs... I hope that helps~

Very much so; I've only made one fur suit in the past without tutorial, so I want to take part in something that would help in improving the quality.
What about more advanced classes?
I'll attend if it means I can work on the head.

Provided there was support, advice and clear guidance, paying would be no problem.
I already am pretty set on beginner stuff but I might be interested in advanced stuff depending on price.
I wish you luck on this project!
