Its because people in general do not like change. Easing Climate Change, requires a change in out day to day behaivior. So anything like climate change comes along, which clearly requires change, people default to the "it makes me have to change so it must be a scam" mentality. Its very close minded.

The same thing happened when the medical community a century ago started becoming a player at the time. Medical science showed, at least on some rudimentary level, that people had to change their habits early on...and people responded by calling it snake oil. Its really sad actually.

well this climate may in fact reintroduce natural selection into the human species .I feel sorry for the people who are experiencing this heat for the first time that I grew up in.

When crops fail and countries go to war over food and water, it is going to majorly suck for everyone. I'm sure that countries with huge oil reserves will be massive targets once they try to jack up the price in order to feed their people. I hope all of this happens long after I'm dead. I am pretty sure that most people will try to ignore the warnings all the way up until the system that we often exploit and take for granted fails. Then they will be like, "What and how did this happen?!"

remember science progresses in war sometimes, while some humans may invest deeply in faith, others will hopefully gain greater interest in solving these issues, through the asset that has made our species progress , "intelligence" .

Pretty much. If it was a hoax then it would be one of the biggest hoaxes in history. Thousands of climatologists, physicist, geologists, and other earth sciences professionals from several different countries all converging on the same idea without anyone coming forward and saying the whole thing is a fake, that is highly unlikely.
