Well, after much electrical tape, frustration, and copious amounts of caffeine, I've managed to get my tablet working for a little bit. It still frequently breaks and I'm not sure how long this fix will last, but I'm hoping to produce one or two more things before I break it in half forever.

Unfortunately I will never have the funds to be able to purchase a new one, so if this one breaks for good I'll be out of luck forever pretty much XD.

Is it the tablet itself that's having trouble? Or is it just the cord? If its just the cord then you can probably pick up a replacement one really cheap at like Radio Shack or a similar store. (Its what I've had to do for mine, and I've had my tablet for years by now)

Both the pen and the tablet itself is the problem, the piece which causes the pressure of the nib from the pen tip is broken, and causes it to get stuck within the pen itself. The tablet is just so worn that bits and pieces of it are falling apart, the drawing area, cord, and the actual tablet itself is starting to fall apart. I'd repair if I could, I got a small fix temporarily although I'm having to redo it every five to ten minutes. I simply can't afford to go around buying new bits and pieces for it, I just don't have the money.

Hmm. I read your other journal and understand money's tight right now (which really sucks) but maybe you can keep an eye out for a really good deal online, or something. (For in the future, I mean. Even if its as 'lame' as a coin jar (you'd be surprised how much spare change you can find) I'm sure there's SOME way of slowly earning a little extra, even if its a birthday present or something.)

Haha the funny thing is we do have a coin jar, because my boyfriend gets paid tips at work. Thing is that we often use that for groceries and whatnot. It's only an inconvenience, so I'm not going to go far and beyond out of my way to get a tablet. It's just that we're two people and what little money we do have tends to go towards things that we both want/need. But I appreciate the suggestion none the less.

Aaah, yeah, I can understand that. Either way, I do hope a solution presents itself (In some form or another) because I know if /I/ lost the capabilit to draw I'd most likely go insane, hahaha.

Well at least this is a little break from the tablet misfortune, even if only a temporary one. Just try to stay positive man, that's the important thing.

Haha I suppose XD. I've been grappling with this thing for the past hour trying to keep it working though, so staying positive is a little hard when you're ready to ball your eyes out in frustration XD!
