Sup!
Had my eye surgery yesterday and im pleased to say all went really well, only took in totes 12 minutes for them to use the microkeratome on each and and to lazer them both c: was slightly painful but damn quick so not really a problem
Was hazy and scratchy yesterday but today all feels really well, bright things give off a glare and will do for a few more days so I cant stay on the laptop for more than an hour or so. I'll be able to start work again on Monday but have to wear eye protection when cutting fur or doing any resin work (drilling/sanding/etc)
IM SO HAPPY almost 20/20 vision after only a day or healing ;u; eeeee!

HIGH DEFINITION BUTTS
Im pretty sure at most the consultations are free so you may as well ask~
How did it feel? I'd like to get it done but... -scared-
That's quite fast!
Mine might take longer as I'm already needing bifocals at 20 x.x
how bad were your eyes? :o
they were pretty poor, shortsighted around -3.25
I've been thinking about getting my eyes done, but I am worried since I have a friend that is very unhappy with her results. :C
The amount of tests and consultations before the surgery itself sealed the deal for me, they did around 8 tests and then 4 on the surgery day so I could forsee anything going wrong
and really? wow how so? O: did your friend go to a well-known clinic, did they get a decent consultation before hand?
She got a newer type of procedure or something where they remove it completely? But it sounds like the same thing that you had done. She also was SUPER SUPER bad vision (Like -9 or something crazy like that!) so maybe that was part of it? Still, my eyes are precious to me, so I'm totally warry and scared. Especially since my right eye is really weird or something. D:
There is the option of a Lazer creating the skin 'flap' instead of the microkeratome :) Was going to go for that option but the lazer was £1,100 more than the microkeratome |D;
She sadly doesn't have 20/20 after all that healing and junk. She still has to wear glasses. D:
Hmm, weird. Would you mind me asking a ballpark of the operations cost?
PKR eh? I think ive heard of that O: I had Lasi, thats really sad that she still has to have glasses :c
no probs was around £2,500~
'~\o/'~ Yaaaay! Congrats on seeing!
ill totes roll around in the confetti tho >u> woooo! x
Oh here, let me help you with that -shoots more confetti around- IT'S LIKE NEW YEARS ALL OVER AGAIN..
So so glad it worked out for you!! It must be so amazing to not have to wear glasses anymore! :D
it is so awesome not to wear glasses any more ;u;
