Greetings One & All
I have returned from vacation. I didn't kill anything or anyone. Got some rest (sorta). And had a super time!!!!
We (Trebonius, Bubbles, Matsi & myslef) left on Tuesday (July 24th) & drove to the home of RhubarbTheBear & Cosmik. Arriving sometime around 11 a.m. Already there was LoneWolfRaven (AKA: Aurius) & foxalbiazul. The rest of Wednesday, resting, chatting, eating, sleeping....
Thursday: In the morning, Aurius, Matsi & I went to the bus station to pick up KittyBird (aka KB) & Draggy! I greeted them both with giant hyena hugs (as I had promised). We took them to the hotel & their room was ready! So, I checked on mine...and it was ready also!!! Back to Rhu's to get our stuff. Met up with TonkaWolf around noon-time. Had lunch at IHOP (it's within walking distance) and then just chilled for a bit. Went for a swim with KB, Draggy, Bubbles & Trebonis. Got registered & then went to furry bowling. It was fun, but trying to find it.....NOT fun!! We must've circled the 'address' about 5 or 6 times before going down a parking lot & finding it BEHIND another building. The drive was interesting. So, Trebonius, Tonka, Bubbles, Matsi, KB & myself bowled. Both Tonka & Matsi scared me so bad, I would just grab the ball, go the line, look for them both, throw the ball & leave. :) KB had her steampunk googles on & got a strike & a difficult spare with them one! She also got me so tickled, that I couldn't hardly look at her with them on without busting out laughing!!!
Friday: Got up early had breakfast with Trebonius & went to Target. While I was gone, beaglederp showed up. I got back, unloaded the car & Bubbles & I headed down to registration. I tried to call beagle to let him know I was on my way down....but, he didn't answer. SO.....I just snuck up beside him & said "Don't you ever answer your phone?!?!" hehehehe Much hugging followed. We laughed, visited & walked to the tourist trap souvenir shop up the road. Took pictures & bought some stuff. Hung around chatting with KB, Blackwell bear, Dipper (he was a surprise for Gen!), Tonka, Bubbles, Trebonius, Beagle & Nelson Demifur. Got laughing so hard that I literally was ROFL!!! I fell outta my chair.... ANYWAY, the time came to reveal Dipper to Gen. She knew the whole time that he was gonna be there. It's tough to pull one over on her. Friday evening came & watched the Rhubarb Show!! It was GREAT!!! I know Trebonius got video of it. I haven't seen it yet, but looking forward to it. After the show, Tonka, Beagle, Trebonius, Bubbles & I played mini golf!! That was quite fun!! I don't remember who won.
Saturday: Breakfast at the hotel with Rhubarb, Cosmik, Beagle, Dipper, Bubbles, and Trebonius. Went swimming at some point with KB, Beagle & Bubbles. Tonka & Trebonius came by & we were headed back to the room & Tonka threw Trebonius in the pool. Ruined his cell phone & he got really wet! hehehehe Mostly visited with others. Watched the dance competition. Which was great!! Matsi knocked 'em dead!!! And, of, course, won!! (YAY MATSI!!!) After the dance, was Rhubarb's JULIE BUNNY MUST DIE!! Words escape me to describe it. I have worked back stage for Julie Bunny for the cons it's played at & when it was playing in Springfield, but never had I seen it from the front. All I can say is: WOW!!! They made everyone leave to set up. So I went out to wait in line. I wanted a good seat. But, I was told not to worry because I already had a seat saved for me. I was expecting seats 3 or 4 rows back, but, no! Cosmik & Rhubarb made sure that I had front row seats!! After the show, I hugged Rhubarb & promptly began crying (I have no idea why). Afterwards, Tonk, Trebonius, Bubbles, Beagle, Draggy & I celebrated by going to Taco Bell!!!! (Now THAT'S a party!!)
Sunday: Had to check outta our room, so packed everything up & loaded the car. Trebonius & Bubbles went to Disney while I stayed around & visited with the furries some more. Tonka headed home. I drove to Rhubarb's to unload the car & headed back to the hotel for more chatting & fun. Enjoyed the day. Had dinner with Beagle, Dipper & Blackwell at a pizza place. Man, was that GOOOOOOOD pizza!!! (Thank you Beagle). Finally had to say good bye to Beagle & he headed home. Went up & visited with Gen, Uriel, Dipper, KB & Draggy. More laughter. Trebonius & Bubbles returned from Disney so we left for Rhubarb's.
Monday: Trebonius got a new phone (to replace the one he lost when he went for a swim). And then we met up with KB & Draggy while we waited for Uriel. He arrived & we went to visit Dusty Rancourt. Gen showed up a bit later & we surprised her with a wonderful "We Love You Gen" banner. I did managed to get a couple of pictures. Katya Rancourt showed up a bit later. More visitng, more laughing and then.....DINNER!!!! Yummy, delicious, amazing, scrumptious, wonderful, fabulous.....and it was good too! dinner. Bacon steak, salads, steak, potatoes, rolls and, of course, remarkable, dessert (cake!!!) Thank you Dusty, Katya, Gen & Uriel!!! The food was great, but the company was even better!!!!! After dinner, it was back to Rhubarb's to load the car & head back home.
Tuesday: Before actually leaving Florida, we stopped at Tonka's home. It was great to see him & his gym. After having breakfast with him & visiting a couple of short hours, it was back on the road. We finally arrived home around 1 a.m. Wednesday morning. (Just in time to grab a short nap before returning to work)
As you can tell, had a wonderful time!! Got lots of pictures that I hope to get off my camera sometime in the near future!

I can only imagine this yellow furred bear cub in the restaurant; Though I now have visions of some little kid in the next table area or booth say, "MOMMY! Look at the CUTE Care Bear!"
