I'm no Mac lover. I bought one to expand my point of view, and in the end I gave it away for free. But if using one brings a person some sort of strange comfort, then I say live and let live. The price versus quality of hardware as well as OS does not calculate out unless you put a set price on the name. I suppose people pay more to be a member of stranger subcultures. Still, like them or not it is good to have a fairly well accepted alternative. Like choosing sat over cable.
Well I have been on vacation for about a month and a half. Will be going back to work on Aug. 13th. Will miss staying up as late as I like and sleeping in as long as I like. Hope to see the new Total Recall this Sunday and try to make my money last till the end of the month when I get my first check from working this month. Won't be a lot, but it should get the job done for now.
Yes, I can understand you missing work some. I miss mind some as well. It was always a good reason to get out of the house and see others, so I can see why you miss it. Yes, a home vacation are the best. Still it is nice to get out of the house and do something different now and then. I do go and see a movie once a week,so that is something and my D&D game every other Friday. And once a month or so, go to a fur meet.
Just finished my Honeymoon trip with pissybadger, and we had an amazing time. We saw lots of sights, got a few personal souvenirs, and had quite a lot of personal nights :)
Aside from that, trying to get back into writing consistently and making smaller projects. Seems to be working well so far. Got myself a new car after driving my current one for over 12 years... it was about time I got a new one :)
As for the rest, same ol' thing for the most part.
Ugh. Well, wish you luck whenever you decide to get yourself another car.
I guess you'd prefer a manual car over automatic if you could? Yeah, I'm way too use to manual car myself.... all my vehicles have been manual transmissions. I just love to play with the shift stick for some reason...
I dont mean to complain. I dont have it too bad, they already cut me all up and removed the cancer, so I should just be grateful and look forward.
I do wish you the best though. I admit I havent been keeping up with your (or really anyone's) journals so I'm not sure how you are, but it's probably worse than me. ;/
I'm working on the long road of regaining control of my left side. It will probably take years, but as you said. I look forward. Plenty of meds for pain, and other nasty stuff, and seeing how bad some have it whern at clinics, I feel fortunate. It's no picnic, but I am not one to worry.
Home. Didn't go anywhere today. Just idled, talked to my brother on the phone for more than 3 hours, did stuff with the computer and even some art as I try to go back to drawing.
KNIFE!!! (cookie if you get the referene!)
How're things with you? What have you been up to lately?

I hope to get a little vehicle myself sometime. It'd be nice to be mobile again.
Ah, what happened to your 'old' one? Eventually broke down?
