Whew! Finally posting this!. Megaplex was a BLAST!!! The entire week before the con was a giant rush to finish up my first partial fursuit for the con, but with family in town and work it was extremely close. and I didn't finish really until 5:30 in the morning on the Friday of the con, which put us late getting to the con. But after arriving and meeting up with our awesome roommates and we grabbed some pie from the pool party/ desert social and put some final touches on our partials before heading down to watch uncle kage's story hour. We had so much fun suiting! Both sh3w0lf and I have never suited before, so it was really great finally getting to wear our first partials. The rest of the con we hung out and suited all over the con. We danced our tails off at the dances, had a great time singing Karaoke in our suits, and had a blast in the fursuit parade. It was really cool to meet so many new people and take pictures with everyone. Got to meet up with and his mate . Sputnik also gave us our badges to wear for the con =D. I also got to meet up with a local fur which was fun, and I even randomly met who was actually my old lab partner in high school XD. Many Thanks to and for all the help they lended while Sh3w0lf and I were in suit. They were great handlers and took some awesome picture for me, (will post soon!) Also they supplied some "beverages" that made the evenings very.....interesting. =P We also got to suit at the local Mcdonnalds! There were so many kids(and adults) that wanted to take pictures with us and get hugs, it was really great! Eventually Sunday night came which meant the end of the con, we spent the last night dancing until the doors were shut at 2:00 and we were the last fursuiters to leave the con. We spent the next hour or so just talking with a few of the other furs that were still out and about, and we didn't get back to the room until around 4:30. The next morning was spent getting ready and driving the fun 6 hours back home. Luckily we gained an hour due to time zone changes.
Over all Megaplex was a blast! We finally got to debut our newly made fursuits, met tons of new people, went to lots of fun events and dances, and just over all had a much needed vacation. I Am really looking forward to next year, and working with my mate sh3w0lf to finish up our first full suits before then! Woohoo!!!=D Will be posting pictures soon!!!
