Hello, fuzzies! I'm just popping in for a quick update. :)
*pokes belly* Not much of a bump going on, even though I'm 6 months pregnant. Hmm...
Puppy is active and doing what healthy babies do. Sometimes I swear he's practicing kung-fu in there, I'm serious! Honestly, I have a really hard time wrapping my head around how some women don't know they're pregnant until they're ready to give birth. I mean... sure, at first you could pass baby kicks off as gas, maybe, but in these later months, there's no gas in the world that feels like this! Well, anyway, Puppy is right on target for growth, so he'll probably be showing up right when he's supposed to, which is the first week of November. My official due date is only 91 days away as of this writing! :D I hope he shows on the 1st, 'cause that will be
's and my 10th wedding anniversary. Can you imagine the awesome parties we'd have every year after that??
Sadly, I got sucker punched by the fatigue that comes along with the 3rd trimester. I've got a few days left before I'm officially in the 3rd trimester, but the exhaustion started to set in somewhere within about a couple weeks ago now. That's been a real bummer, because I have all this stuff I wanna do, but I don't have the energy for it. Lame. But! It's worth it in the end, so I'm truly not gonna complain too much!
So, what does this mean art-wise? Well, you'll probably see some random stuff get posted here and there as I dig through my older sketches and find stuff I can poke around at until it gets done when I have some energy and time. But nothing serious. I'm not going to have commissions or trades open again for quite some time. I'd estimate that the shortest amount of time would be 6 months before I open either of those again. Although, I might offer random original work for sale on Furbuy or something. We'll see.
BTW, if anyone happens to be interested in seeing some ultrasound images of Puppy, here are some:

He was about 20 weeks at that point. I'm going into 27 weeks now. Seems like just yesterday I got those pictures! OMG!!

Alas I worked with a girl who didn't know till she was 7 months along. It was weird.
I worked with a girl who claimed she didn't know she was pregnant until she was literally in the ER in labor. She said she thought her appendix had ruptured, but it was a baby instead... And another girl I worked with who had her baby recently didn't know she was pregnant until exactly one week before she gave birth! She found out on a Friday, and went into labor and then gave birth the following Friday. WTF?!
I've gotta say, I'd be one of the kinds of women who wouldn't know for a few months or so, because my condition makes it so I don't have regular periods, so skipping a few months is common for me. But after the baby started to move, or anything else started to happen, I'd have some suspicions, at least, and would go to a doctor.
