Ooo! I like that Werewolf Portrait! I've been wanting one of your werewolf paintings for a while now. I've been hoping for an especially creepy one. Is this the one I should get (or at least bid on), or do you have a creepier one in the works?

That is the only finished ACEO I have of a true werewolf. I do plan on other werewolf paintings soon, and I have one large canvas print at the framers getting matted. But if you want an original painting for less than $100, an ACEO is the way to go.

I'm gonna try to get it! I just placed a bid. What do you frame something like that in? I saw some Black Forest type Victorian frames on eBay, that it could be matted to fit. That was the first thing that came to mind...?

I really don't know. I typically go to a framing shop and say "What should I do with this?" and they do it for me. ;)

Seriously...? I'm visualizing a fat, 50 year old, platinum blond, in floral shorts, saying things like, "What breed of dog is this? I'm partial to Pekepoos, myself! My, he looks grumpy. Everything is better in flowers and pastels! I think that's what we need to soften the tone of this picture. It's going to be a challenge, but leave it to me. I'll whip up something that'll make your grandma want to hang it in her foyer! By the way, what colors are your sofa and drapes? We wouldn't want it to clash, now would we!?" ...maybe I'm being prejudice against framers... maybe. :-/

I've met some artists in the past that had strong opinions on the way their work was framed. Just wondered if you did too. It's too soon to be picking out frames anyway. I haven't even won the auction.
