whats the OMNICON? is it a furry con?

Hehe, OMNICON isn't a furry con, it's an everything con with a focus on science-fiction and fantasy. I helped create it in 2010 and even ran as Con Chair for a year. ^^; It's held for 2 days over the weekend at the Tennessee Technological University. I usually run to Anime Viewing Room. We've had a steady stream of people the last few years; ranging from just over a 100 our first year to around 250 this year.

wow fun! i wish we could make it... its about 8 hours south of where we live.. -_- maybe someday we'll make the trip down there to see you :3

I understand. Most conventions are too far from me, too. I'd very much like to meet some of my online friends in person some day. I've never met another furry IRL that I've not converted myself.

i know what you mean :3 i met my first batch of friend furs at AC a month ago :3 it was quite rememberable!

*sigh* Must be nice having money. AC would run me $600+ not counting gas to get there and back. I'm barely making $20-$40 a month right now.

ugh.. AC ran us broke too.. we probably wont be able to go again for another couple years.. it was our first time going.. i don't have a job at the moment.. so i feel your pain..
