FurFright, anyone?

Well after looking over my financial situation and projected profits from working, I won't be able to get to Rain Furrest this year. There is another con on the horizon that I'd really love to get to though and that's FurFright. The odds are pretty good of me getting to that one, but I have no idea who is going or even who I can stay with. Just wanting to know who plans on going. XD

That con is not worth it. The hotel is far too small for the size of the con, the city is garbage, the hotel is a ridiculous distance from any airport, so unless you drive or have a generous friend with a car, you'll be set up with a hefty (like $60 one way) cab fare. There isn't any decent food anywhere nearby. The con itself, while you'd think it would be fun and halloweeny, really isn't any different than any other con, with the exception that it is far more crowded, hot, sticky, and there is candy left strewn all about the floor that gets stuck into fursuit feet. The headless "lounge" was a joke (i.e. a hallway behind the main events room with like 4 fans for like, what,100 suiters?), and overall it's just not worth it unless you're a local.
Seriously, for a good event, hit up MFF, FWA, or Elliott's Spring Gathering. Furfright was lame as shit.
