Thanks, my friend. Sometimes it's almost like a guilty pleasure. I hate it and yet roll around in it to get the most of it. Especially when I can listen to songs like this that just rock me in a cradle of remembrance and self pity. Sad and sick I guess, but there you are. I'm still clutching at all the pleasure I can. Damn....I need to be slapped or something......

sad songs resonate with us when we are down because it just fits our vibes. we feel a connection to it because we feel it explains and expresses how we feel. dont beat yourself up about it. it is inevitable that we will face hard times. but it is always darkest before the dawn. take it from someone who spent half a year in the darkness.

I thank you for your well wishing. I can't really explain where I'm at mentally at the moment because I don't really know. Mainly I do know I'm not happy and haven't been for a long time. Without a clue as to what would make me happy....and THAT is what really bothers me. Maybe it's that I can't come to terms with my advancing age and the physical problems I'm experiencing. I don't know, but that's my best guess. All I know for sure is if that is the case, it ain't gonna get any better. Sorry to be such a negative bitch....it's just how I'm feeling right now...

ugh i hate it when you dont really know why your upset. just remember that no matter what there are people here and everywhere that care. so even if you dont know, at least know you got family. we are pullin for ya. we are all in this together.

I know...and it really does help. Just being able to post something like I did helps. But the reactions of my friends here help much more. Thanks so much. Sometimes you just need to let people know that you're hurting. I have no one to tell it to IRL so I must do it here. Thanks again for being there!
