You need to talk about how you're feeling, just like this. You're going through an episode of depression, which is quite common and understandable considering what you've been through. Contrary to what people think, a few good things don't cure depression. Anyone who thinks that, well, I pray they never experience depression the way people who suffer the condition do. It's one thing to be depressed, unhappy, but it's another thing to feel that crippling dread which is so disabling. It's like the difference of worlds between a nightmare and a night-terror, they're just so far different, they're both completely different creatures. You are a good person, so rely on those who are around you, that support you. Use their positive reinforcements to push back the bad thoughts and let the good thoughts take over for a while. Look for comfort from who you're engaged to.
