15 person passenger vans? Are huge. We've nicknamed our rental van The Titanic. Unfortunately, due to my husband's shoulder, I was the one that drove all the way from Los Angeles to Denver (going through Albuquerque). We did LA to Santa Fe on day 1, and SF to Denver the following day. We did not arrive in time to finish our business licensing process on Thursday, so we had to go nice and early this morning to get the essential permits to vend. The hotel is 6.2 miles from the state department of revenue office, as the GPS beeps.
The first day was pretty good - doors opened at noon, and we had a lot of interest in the patches, aluminum wallets, and various tchotchkes. Wulf engraved a couple of custom pet tags (we just had the blanks delivered this past Saturday!). All in all, it's going well. I just hope it does better tomorrow and Sunday.
Oh, and it's been decided that when we pack up, we're bringing The Titanic to the side door, so we don't have to lug the laser engraver all the way back up to the room Sunday night, to lug back down on Monday, when we leave. No. Just... no.
