I forgot but I deleted it, something genericC or something like thankfully I installed avast and now it seems like my computer is getting assaulted from all sides by trojans which, thanks to the shields avast has set up, have been blocked, one was a 32 bit service executer inside my own laptop and not even on internet explorer...

yeah but this is the free version and will only last 30 days, I got rid of one malware on my computer but apparently the problem is two-fold. Two installers with codes I can't even read have trojan downloaders or something in them.

I thought the free version wasn't limited at all...

no no it says it can't delete it because it's already in use by the system....but I did fix it (found the subfile trying to download more trojans and deleted that)

found the file but no matter how many times I click 'delete' the file won't delete, I clicked it several times with no luck.

to wit there are 8 infected files in my folders (apparently, I delete them from the chest whenever they pop up) and 5 from my network (since I use a wireless network that might mean my parent's computer is infected too, wouldn't be surprised with how wontonly my stepsiblings use it)

Ah, such things happen once in a while. I hope you have safety copies of your files, RD. Good luck with the antivirus scan. <=3

*nods* it worked I found what the heck was trying to download more trojans from my files onto my laptop and deleted it, now my internet is running more smoothly, FA is loading more quickly and my avast says none of my laptop files are infected anymore.
