I was watching a review I like to watch fairly regularly, and they played a video from this band. I was like "who is this?.. They're pretty good. not only that but they had the strangest name I had ever heard. " Steam Powered Giraffe. " they're a band hailing from San Diego who pantomimes musical singing robots. I guess my childhood love of robots still remains intact. I've been watching their videos on youtube every night since. From live concerts to their own music videos.

Yeah their Characters are robots that were built back in 1896. The copper one with the red gloves is Rabbit, he is the only one with his original parts. therefor he malfunctions a lot. Stuttering in his speech now and then or just plain breaking down for a moment in the middle of a song during live performances. The silver tall one is The spine. who in the 60's got a replacement. a Titanium alloy spine. And the crazy art deco steam punk looking one is The john. He runs off of soda.. mostly Crystal Pepsi.

Sorry, about that. I felt guilty having that many vids up at one time. You can easily look their performances on YouTube. It's real easy, and they are so worth seeing the many vids.
