Just when I thought PayPal couldn't suck more...

General
I applied for a "PayPal Here" device, through which I should be able to process credit cards at last. It's been frustrating having to lose sales because of not being able to do that.
However, despite their documentation saying that there is an app both for iPhones and Androids, so far I cannot find the Android app.
And just to add to my joy, I have just discovered that a rolling reserve has been placed on my account. I am guessing that it's to cover charge-backs, but that means I don't have access to my money for 21 days! Trust Paypal to come up with a way of hanging onto the money for longer at your expense. I certainly hope that only applies to the credit card payments, and not the regular Paypal ones.

FA+

But it says it's not compatible with my Atrix 4G.
Here's the link, assuming FA's note system doesn't mung it up:

Your link works, but there it also says "This app is incompatible with all of your devices." Maybe it thinks my brand new HTC phone is incompatible?
Is your HTC phone one of the ones on this list?

It's a pity that they didn't make it plain that only certain phones were compatible when they emailed me with the promotion for this service. Now I wonder if an upgrade will make the phone compatible later, or whether I can get hold of another phone that complies.
The Andoid stores have been rife with malware "clones" of popular apps. If possible, check the code signing on the app and make sure it's signed by PayPal. They're a big enough financial institution that they should probably have an extended validation certificate.
