ChainerPrime is absolutely right. There is absolutely nothing to be sorry about. It is your choice. No one can tell you what you should do or not do. You have to choose what is right for you.

Making decisions on your own based on your feelings, logic and intuition is an especially valuable tool in the individuation process. The more you practice making your own decisions, the more you will realize that you know a lot more than you think, and the more you will realize that you are quite capable of deciding things for yourself. And the more decisions you make, the more you will learn to trust your own judgment.
