How does one GAIN WEIGHT
Yeah so
I'm 16 years old, 5'4, and 87 pounds.
I've had people ask me if I'm anorexic several times and it really kills my self esteem. I look like I am, and it's gross. I eat normally, three meals a day and several snacks. I can't gain a thing and I'm DISGUSTED with how bony I am.
Does anyone have any ideas ;n;

FA+

But it also may be your metabolism and there's not much you can do to change that. As you get older it'll get slower and you'll gain more weight.
your metabolism is high because you were born that way. It's not something you control, some are born with slower (like me) some were born with faster (like you) it has to do with genes.
Up it to 6 meals a day with snacks.
Drink nothing but pop.
Be me. lol
I'm so easily amused lol, but thanks!
I usually don't have much to snack on :C

I've actually tried protein shakes, they're absolutely disgusting. >:C I can't keep them down man
EAT MEAT LIKE A BEAST
If you can, go to your Doctor and ask for your blood to be taken and have your thyroid checked.
But peanut butter is great and snacking on peanuts, almonds, etc is also good. Peanuts are high in good fat.
Other than that, exercise. Muscle weighs more than fat.
21 5'1 89-90 lbs.
Currently at 93lbs. Still trying to gain so I'm at least 100lbs.
Made sure to eat full meals three times a day, served myself what I usually eat plus half.
Lots of water, no coke/soda/root beer.
Eat healthy, eating fatty foods just makes your body burn it off since you either don't eat as you should or have a fast metabolism like I do.
Exercise, I know this seems redundant, but it makes you hungry and helps get your body into using your food properly rather than just burning it off in one day. You're also more likely to keep lean muscles than to keep fat on.
How are your sleeping habits?
Honestly, I had pretty bad sleeping habits before this happened to me, but I used to weigh about 115-120. I didn't even eat too much; sometimes just one meal, sometimes two with breakfast being a honeybun or something similar. Rarely snacked.
I have just about the same eating habits, but I snack a little more frequently sometimes. I started a horrible sleeping habit where I sleep every other night. Literally... I cannot sleep every single night now. :/ And when I sleep, it's about 4-12 hours... x_x
I've been noticing it more and more, but my stomach growls much more often, I have a very flat stomach, and my pants are getting spacier (and I already wear 1s and 2s, gah). So I stepped on the scale -- lo and behold, I now weigh 100 lbs.
So, believe it or not, I guess sleeping habits are a huge factor in weight, haha.
