Dog feet tend to be narrower, pointed, and the claws always show. Cat feet are rounder and mitten like, with retractable claws. Cheetahs are an exception though; they have doglike feet.

Honestly just look at animal reference pics, weather they are online or in books. I have not found a good "how to' guide to draw furies yet. Its because people are too stuck on trying to tape two forms together instead of have both be natural and merge them. I would also recommend when you add details like, scars, scales, horns, feathers and coloring as well - add it all over the body. Far too many artists will draw something like a naga or a centaur and just "glue" two halves together and not work on the details of merging. In the case of a centaur - actually go the extra mile and add none human ears, facial markings etc. This can be transferred onto ANY furry. Also I notice that its extremely common to add human hair to a ton of different style of furries. in my opinion this nulls a lot of work that went into making something NOT human in the first place. It also tends to make the char look more unbelievable (unless its hair done in the style of a main) it also often makes chars look like cheap whores. Instead of being a dominant male or female figure or even a submissive one...the char looks like a cheap hoe - just add makeup...which i see happens a lot. I know I am trashing a ton of styles but its those same styles that made me feel like I was no where near the furry fandom for a long, long time. I don't look at a human body with a snake head with lipstick and boobs with long flowing hair and say - wow that's hot....that's just me. Keep them more natural, more believable more naturally seductive. When a snake-morph looks at you seductively or hungrily it does not need tits to convey this. Use what is naturally attractive to the base animal!
