Packing it in, and headed back

Well, I am happy enough to say that I am going to be leaving Afghanistan in about a week's time.
Down side: I have to pack up all the crap I have accumulated in almost two years worth of time out here, I really didn't think I had that much stuff.
So, when back in the States, I am going to be in Ohio for three months roughly, I hope to be attending FurFright this year, since I was unable to attend last year sadly. I don't know when I can return comments and stuff, things have been really crazy with work, and me trying to get everything sorted to get out of here.
Just hope that I don't have any major snags to deal with....

What's the first thing that you'll be doing once you're state-side again?

If you're not religious, that's not an issue. There'll be staff there that don't approach things from a religious standpoint, and more of a psychological angle. And that's what problems like getting settled back into stateside life after deployment tend to be. Don't shy away from getting it addressed.

But at least you're open to getting help if needed. Go for it where available.
