Good luck with that. Had mine out way back when I was a kid. Not a fun stay, but, not the worst thing that could happen I suppose. Plenty of free time to goof off though!
yup! I'm planning on watching the rest of inuyasha I never finished, then some other series if I have time. Still need to finish 200 eps of detective conan!
1st off you are in trouble for not telling me >:( second of all i wish you all the good luck possable and you know i will be tlking to you when you need some company ^^
we have been saving up for disney world this holloween. so we kinda postponed any cons till after that. we are set for furry fiesta next year though. and of course wild nights and cpfm n such.
It went very well actually. It was a blessing in disguise I insisted on them taking them out because they ended up being the size of golf balls and there was a sizable infection behind one that explained my recurring swollen tonsils and sore throat. If they hadn't taken them out, it could have progressed into my jaw 0.o
Right now I'm just taking it easy in bed, eating what I can which is actually fairly unlimited, just no crunchy chips, pop-corn, etc. Had McDonald's breakfast right after the surgery (the doctor wanted me to eat a cheeseburger, but it just didn't seem appealing at 9 AM).
Anywho, thanks for the concern! I miss your husky butt... I mean face! :3
General update for everyone, The surgery went great!
They had a very minor blessing of a complication. They found an infection behind the left tonsil that was pretty sizable and was why I had recurring sore throats and enlarged tonsils. They took it out no problem, but the doctor said they had swollen to the size of golf balls... 0.0. But again, all good now.
Just staying up to date on my pain meds (got prescribed vicoden! You may call me Dr. House... I mean Dr. Horrible... I mean Dr. Dax!!). I'm not as useless as I thought I would be. I can actually get up and walk around without too much stress. I am eating normal foods, but I usually like to wait until the pain meds kick in each dose to do so. I'm feeling much better about this than I thought :)
Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers, it's great to have friends like you all! ^_^
Vicodin never did much for me. Then I had friends who got totally loopy on the stuff, to the point they couldn't type coherently but didn't know to stop.
JK, hasn't done anything to me, then again, I haven't been taking max dosage so it lasts me as long as I need lol. I still have my balance and vision. It's mostly messing with gastrointestinal things.
Feel better soon! ^.=.^ I still have mine. I've had tonsillitis many times, but they said I had the smallest tonsils they had ever seen. o.=.o; Apparently mine are like peas. >.=.>;;
Much luck dude, you should be fine. This procedure is like crossin the street,for them. Recover well and fast pandabutt!
You'll be just fine. <3
