I had this customer looking to reupholster her old chair from the 20s. She was this recently divorced 40 something. We shot the shit and talked about art deco, how Frank Llyod Wright was a horrible husband, and our common love of F. Scott Fitzgerald, Hemingway, Bret Easton Ellis, Chuck Palanuick, and Sylvia Plath.

She said I could have easily been her child :D

Gonna go back to re-reading Less Than Zero, been on a huge Ellis kick lately.
