SD: Mystery Inc. a love-letter to vintage Hanna-Barberra

Okay, this season has been almost as schizo as Trigun when it comes to balancing absurd comedy with deathly serious drama. Without trying to spoil anything for those who haven't seen this or even the first season, the appearances by other past HB characters are no longer limited to background gags and dreams.
What bugs me, though, is that its new time-slot is definitely not for its target audience. The prime-time slot the first season held was just right, since it's not quite into Adult Swim territory, but without a doubt completely geektacular.
