Blasted Ferrets
Well, I had the ferts out today. And somehow at some point the little snots found my candy stash. (I'm hpyoglycemic, so I always have a constant supply of sugar in case my glucos level drops too low). Well they became quite determined to get into it, despite my attempts to keep them out. Eventually I gave in and gave them one of the root beer candies that disolves with saliva.
I then discovered the humor of ferrets trying to eat something very very chewy. lol. It was quite amusing... But it made them happy and they stopped trying to get to my candy.

Sounds to me you've got your hands full between them and your hypoglycemia. But if you don't mind me asking, would the hypoglycemia be due to an insulin hyperactivity or is it improper metabolic degredation?
Since I want to understand the nature of all manner of diseases in the health field, I would like to gain some first hand insight and experience. I hadn't realized that candy was a viable source for keeping up blood sugar. I would have thought things such as 100% fruit juices could provide a healthier alternative to manufactured sweets.. Then again, I guess there would be the convenience fatoer too right? ^_^
And as for the hypoglycemia, it's due to a weird gland condition. My body produces too much adrenaline, and because of it it burns through my glycos levels faster then my body can maintain it. I dunno all the semantics of it... I'd have to get ahold of my medical record for that. lol. But that's how the doctors explained it to me, and that's how I understand it
From what you mentioned, it sounds like your adrenal glands or hypothalumus, or pituitary gland are acting up. Adrenaline (or epinephrine) is created from the adrenal glands under certain body conditions. Usually, the hypothalumus sends signals to many other hormone excreting cells, glands, or organs to regulate the body. At least, that's how I understood it from my physiology class.
So, your body seems to be in a constant or at least an elevated state of alertness. I sure pray that this won't put undue stress on your body because an abnormal level of anything for a prolonged period of time leads to health complications.
Hopefully it won't come to that. Thank you so much for the info Keichimaru. That was very enlightening. Take care of yourself okay. ^_^
