Because furries as a whole are creepy people who seek affection, even if that means from a random person online hiding behind a fake name. :I

This is most obvious on Second Life, where I happen to be hanging out right now. haha.

Not sure if we're outcasted as much as we're setting ourselves aside from the fandom because we actually have goals that align more with non-furs. My bf and I always look out of place at a con because I'm going to college, he's training to become an Army officer, we're both financially stable and relatively good-looking...the list goes on. It doesn't mean we can't meet great people within the fandom, but the majority of it is just so...furry.
