Saw Rush tonight, first row, right in front of Alex.
I think he thought my air guitar skillz were funny, because he tried to give me a pick. He tossed it right at me. I didn't move. It zapped right by me and landed on the ground, where someone else snatched it up.
When I looked back at him, I realized that he was mouthing something at me. Something like, "Didn't you want a pick?"
In my own typical fashion, all I could think of to do was shrug and make a sort of "I dunno" gesture, palms up. Smooth.
For the rest of the show, all I could think about was that stupid pick.
