Maryland State Police issued an AMBER Alert for a missing 1-year-old boy Tuesday evening.
Cesar Steven Martinez was allegedly abducted by his father, Julio Cesar Arriaza, who was last seen driving a 2006 Chevy SUV near Nimitz Road in District Heights.
The alleged abduction took place about 6 p.m. Monday and has escalated in the past day.
The Hispanic boy weighs 18 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes.
Arriaza is a Hispanic man standing 5-foot-4 and 150 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.
There's no description of what either was wearing.
The suspect vehicle is a Green Chevrolet Equinox with Maryland license plates 7AG6950.
Anyone with information about the whereabouts of the child or the man should call 301-352-1200 or 911.

They found the boy he was slightly wounded and they won't have no more info on the finding.
