i have adopted a fawn Dumbo Rat^^ shes about 6 months old..not sure if shes going to get any bigger but she seems a good size.

Kairo had fancy rats as a kid and i was thinking about buying him one for his birthday next month,..so we went into petsmart just to look around and i asked if they had any fancy rats.

the lady said no, but they had some Dumbo rats. And i was like Meh, what the hell,..lets see them.

theyre ears are a tad bigger but theyre almost exactly the same,..and Kairo was all..You wanna hold one?

i was a gerbil/reptile kid..i never had hampsters or mice or ...well..we had rabbits in a hutch..but id never held a rodent this big x.x


so,..we went into the little room between the small mammals and the bird cages..and i sat down and she handed me a little fawn female..and she was so curious of everything..she didnt bite me or even try,.just calmly walked around and sniffed the hell out of me..Kairo had her sister in his hands and she was all over the place bursting with energy^^

now,.i never thought i could like rats..because they have naked tails,.but its actually really cool,.its soft with blond peachfuz on it and she would grip onto my fingers with it when she was walking from hand to hand.

i fell inlove <3

i cant bring her home till friday because of paperwork or something..but ill be posting pictures soon!

i need help picking out a name! any ideas for a calm fawn and white baby girl?
