Saturday 15th September

It’s not a mistake, someone else has booked up use of the venue for the 8th, plus several people will have only just returned from Euroference that weekend (including Lone).

Before 12pm - meet up at Manchester Piccadilly Train station
Please meet up with the group at the train station before 12pm (we don’t like waiting for stragglers). The group is outside platform 1&2 and near the large departure/arrival signs.

When in doubt, have someone’s mobile number My number is available on PM request.

After 12pm - head to Crunch on Canal Street

The group will wander over to Crunch, our host venue. You’ll be greeted by Lone. If you plan on staying indoors please head upstairs as Upper Crunch is the floor we’ve booked private use of. It will be available from 12pm till 5pm.

If you are fursuiting please speak with Elly who will be nearby so she can give you instructions on where the changing rooms are, when they are available as well as the day’s event.

At that point the day is yours to spend as you see fit. Go out with a group of your friends to the city centre, stay inside the venue, sit in the nearby gardens, head to the cinema and so forth.

If you have an activity you want to organise (e.g. trip to bowling alley, or seeing a film), let us know and we can post about it here and help you.

At around 1pm people will be splitting off to head for food. Some go to the nearby pizza take away, some head to the sushi restaurant, some head to Arndale food court. Make your arrangements.

3pm- Fursuit walk

If the weather is good a fursuit walk shall happen at 3pm. Fursuiters are advised to use common sense, change early before 3pm so you don’t get left behind and queue patiently to use the limited space designated as the changing room area.

[i]5pm - 6pm[/i] - Xbox games happening at Undercrunch

Crunch will kindly lend us their TV and Lone shall be supplying the xbox 360 and the kinects. Wander underground to Undercrunch for free play on the variety of party games there.

6:30pm - Fursuit Games

The usual variety of fursuit games available.

Bowling
Each contestant gets three bowls, highest score wins.

Limbo
One attempt to see the lowest you can go under the pole.

Penalties
Iit’s a test of who is the best goal keeper, let a penalty in and you’re out.

Velcro ball
Best out of three in catching the ball.

Draw something
Try and draw a word so the audience can guess it right, if they get it wrong, you're out.

6:30pm - Evening Party

At 5pm Uppercrunch closes to be cleaned. Please head to the ground floor and bring your belongings. You can also head to Lowercrunch which is the underground floor where the evening party will begin.

This month’s theme is ROCK n ROLL.

Your DJ is SkaPup; musician, main meet organiser, MancFurs legend and creator of deadly chilli sauces. He shall be playing the classic rock anthems and later in the night for you metal heads he shall delve deeper into his personal collection and take the volume up to 11.

There shall be an air guitar contest and a prize for the best dressed mean rock ‘n’ roller.

Sunday 16th September

The Sunday meets are a quieter affair, smaller group, varied in activity and for a large part of the day alcohol free. Please check each month to see what activity is being organised.

For this month it’ll be a pretty standard Sunday meet, we will head to Nexas Café and chill. Perhaps some drawing will take place. If you have a proposed activity let me know and I’ll consider. Might also need to see what the group that turns up wants to do.

We like to know roughly how many are coming. Nexas Café gets upset with me if the group is large without prior warning.
