Today has been amazing.
First thing this morning, we went out to Ada. I've been working on getting my drivers license for the past year- Every time I take the test, something would go wrong- I'd bump something, pull into the wrong lane, that sort of thing.
But today... Today I took the test for the fourth time.
And passed.
I know it doesn't sound like much- An underachieving eighteen-year-old finally buckling up and doing something he should have done at sixteen? Big deal.
But the story's not over.
As soon as I got home, I called a friend. And I drove to his house.
Trent lives over thirty miles away.
I made it there, though I had a few mix-ups remembering directions, but still I stayed at his house until ten.
Ten. I drove home in pitch darkness. First time driving alone, and first time driving at night.
Not a problem. Knock on wood.
