Question on military dress!

General
I know why the Marines wear a red stripe down their leg, it's called a blood stripe. The question is about the uniforms of the English uniforms of the 19th century, red stripes and was there any other colors used, painting up some figures, and I need to know...
Thank you

I'm not sure if this harks back, but today, Cavalry units have a golden yellow stripe in the British Army.
"Cavalry however wore stripes of regimental colour (white, yellow, blue/grey etc.)on their riding breeches"

You can see some gold, white and multi-colored stripes as well as red here. Calvary again. PBI tends to wear solid color pants.
Also, your wonderfully bad jokes.
Don't belittle your expertise in this field, MadBadger. There's holes in everyone's database. And there is always more to learn.
