Am I the only one sick of this horror movie archetype? It seems that every few months or so now, they push out another exorcism movie where the devil or some other demon possesses an innocent little girl and makes her head spaz out in mirrors or some shit. Horror movies right now have enough problems with unoriginality and dealing with an almost entirely desensitized audience, and these movies aren't doing the genre any favors.

I know horror movies aren't exactly high art by most standards, but for fuck's sake, some of us still like them and would like something at least trying to deviate from this fad.

The worst part is that as long as someone goes "Well dude, come on, it actually wasn't THAT bad. Now hear me out...", these movies will continue to be shoved out there. Ugh.
