Now Mr. Armstrong is flying in heaven in a suped up shuttle. *salutes*

First the guy that did the Count on Sesame Street and now Armstrong? *sniffles*

When I read the story of his death online I felt like I got punched in the gut.

To him for doing something not because it was easy or bring him fame but because it was a challenge.

He will be missed and remembered

Very sad I was hoping he might be the last among the moon men to go. MAybe even live long enough to see people land on Mars.

It's a sad day because of this news. He was always a personal hero of mine

Joins in Salute

Yeah, none of the astronauts of Apollo 11 really looked for fame and fortune. They didn't chase headlines (though it was funny when Buzz Aldrian punched that one guy in the mouth on camera a few years back). They were humble men who went farther into our cosmos then any human before them.
