A new icon, your experiences with foxes, and more!
Hello everyone!
First off, welcome to our new members who have joined in the past few weeks! It’s really nice to see more cross foxes emerging from the wood work. I hope you will enjoy our group and what it has to offer.
Let me please draw your attention to our new icon created for us by
Urbanfox0612; head on over to the gallery to see it in full size, and there is also a link to her user page there to fave the original should you wish to!
Please see the footer of this journal for the link to the introduction and members list journal – the list grew too large for the front page, and this new format enables us to say hello to our new members.
Now to draw your attention to our relevant discussion! As suggested by
vinfox: Have you ever had a real life encounter with a fox? What was it like? Have you ever seen a cross fox yourself?
Finally, I’d like to introduce you to
Tvorsk who is now the group’s co-owner. I myself head off to school shortly, and during that time I will not have sufficient access to FA to maintain this group (as I stay away from home with monitored internet access). Tvorsk will therefore be keeping things going for me so we can ensure we have as active and organised a group as possible!
That’s all for now – until next time! Don't forget to leave your comments on our relevant discussion!

Also at one of my old places we had a fox den under our garden shed! ^.^
But my closest experience was actually just a few weeks ago. Five in the morning, sleepy me waiting for a train on a station in the middle of a big city, looking around...
"*Yawns, looks along the tracks* Oh hey, a fox..."

"O.O WHAT?"
Yiep, a nicely fluffy red fox trots down the train track, getting closer to me, then jumps into bushes on the side.
I thought "He went away for sure", but get closer, look inside, and see a foxy face looking back at me. :)
Well, we smiled at each other for a moment, then I stepped back to not bother him.
A while later he left these bushes, and got back the way he came - down the tracks to the other side of the bridge, then off into the woods. :)
All reds. :) It's very rare to see a crossy in Europe, they're mostly to be found on American continent.
Far as crosses go I've mostly only worked with pure red foxes but I do know of someone who does in fact have a cross fox. He's a real sweet one and I'm honestly amazed on how well he behaves compaired to what I've delt with. :P Even with the smells (I personally don't find fox smell offensive, but some do) and destruction (they dig a lot!) it's so worth it! :)
