So as some of you know I'm currently vacationing in sunny north-west florida a on the pan handle in santa Rosa beach. You may also know, if you watch wheather patterns marginally less obsessively than i do (/sarcasim, im a wheather nut :p ) you'll know that there's a possible Cat-2 hurricane headed straight for me, and my parents whom i am vacatoning with at the moment, have informed me they are going to ride out the storm. Depending on the severity by the time it reaches us i really hope they know what they're doing. I was in a universal studios hotel when I rode out Charlie back in 04' so i know that hurricanes are indeed no laughing matter. I can only hope that everything will be fine, most of the beach houses here are built to code to withstand these types of thing but less than a block from the beach and basically on an island, you might understand why i might be a bit concerned.
If for WHATEVER reason after monday i go off the grid, I will do my best to stay in contact with the handful of friends I have that can update you guys on the situation.
I'd like to thank everyone who offered thier help from the previous journal, I really appreciate the kindness of this community in light of everything.
Anyway my apologies if im sparse today and tomorrow, I'm going to try and enjoy the weather before things go to heck.

Just have plenty of supplies and put valuables up high incase of flooding.
Enjoy the storm and you should actually go sit on the beach and take a couple pics of the incoming swirly. May see some water vortex's if you're lucky.
That is perhaps the most foreboding image I can ever remember.
Now flood and hurricanes are seriously not on the same order(considering that the later are often so bad that they are a source of the former...), but seriously, I wishes you best of luck and take care of yourself, okay?
