Memorial
Today they unveiled a monument to the fallen firefighters back in Butler. My brothers name was engraved on it as well as three others who died in the line of duty.
Unfortunately I found out last night about it so could not attend. One of the firefighters I used to work with sent me pictures and I have tears running down my face as I type this. They are not all tears of sadness. I am proud as well. Tony was my idol and a huge reason I joined the fire department. He was everything I wanted to be. I am happy to see him recognized. I still miss him but he was a hero not just to me but to everyone.

"Not Without My Brother"
We're measured by the impression we leave on others when we are gone; clearly your brother was a great man.
