Try, when turning on the PC, keep pressing "F8", until a menu appears, with options such as "Start in safemode" and "safe mode with networking" and the likes. when that menu opens, select "Safe mode". And tell me if it starts somewhat normally. It won't let you do most things and the internet won't work, but from there, the problem may be fixed.
Ok, to open your computer case, there is going to be a screw in the back of the case, on one side and doesn't look like the other side. This may/may not be what you will see on the inside http://www.easeus.com/resource/imag.....ard-drive4.jpg
Your hard drive will look something like this http://www.laptopparts101.com/wp-co.....hard-drive.jpg with either a large gray cable, or a small red one. You should disconnect the 2 cables that will be connected to the hard drive (take care to remember which side the cables are on (unless it has the big gray cable, as it get's pretty obvious). And then try to turn on the computer, you should get a message like "Boot device not found" or something to that lines, it won't start into windows. If that happens then that means that the problem is with your operating system.
Hmm... is there any voice program you have access to on your phone, like skype or something, where you can voice chat with a computer user?
On the bottom of your laptop, there will be 3 parts that look like they can come off (might be 2) one is the battery, the other is going to be the cover for the RAM and the Hard Drive.
They're attached by usually, 2 Phillips screws, once open, the hard drive is probably attached by another 2 screws. When those are off, you can slide the hard drive, usually to the right, and it'll disconnect and can be removed. ( remember to be careful, when removing the drive, there should be slight resistance, and don't touch any other parts, as some can be damaged by static, and the likes)
This'll let you turn it on, minus the hard drive, and see if it'll give the "hard drive missing" errror, or not.
Also, what do you do with your computer, other than draw? (as I have 2 options for you, if the problem is only with your OS, not the hardware)
and whether the computer is "budget" or over 6000$, problems will always occur.
So when does the system blue-screen, is it upon turning it on, or after it's running for a bit?
Also, how often do you check this, as sending messages approx. 1 day apart makes this seem a bit slow, for fixing the issue.

Or if you can borrow a friends laptop for a Skype call xD
Also, since you stated that your computer is a laptop, finding out the problem would be a WHOLE lot easier.

Just asking, as you could change to linux, probably be able to keep your data, and still be able to do ALL of your usual things, but faster.
