This is it. This is the last communication you will get from me through FA until several days to several weeks from now. I'll be either riding out the storm at my workplace, or at my house if traffic absolutely will not allow me to get to work. (Thank you jackasses from New Orleans waiting until the last damn second to evacuate >.<)

schtherealist on Twitter is your best chance to hear updates IF ANY that I'm able to post. FOLLOW IT IF YOU HAVE NOT ALREADY DONE SO lol. I'm not going to log onto this site from my workplace's internet if I can even get access to it. I know for sure my workplace will have electricity. Hospitals, broadcast media outlets and government offices are all guaranteed to have emergency generators running during storms :P

As for the storm itself, it doesn't seem QUITE as ominous as it did since it isn't even a hurricane at THIS LATE stage of the game. That and the forecast tracks have shifted slightly more toward the east than they were. I'm hoping it won't be too terrible for Baton Rouge.

AND MOST OF ALL THANK YOU AGAIN  dynastygoddess for offering me a place to stay if it takes them too long to get electricity restored here.
