FA suffers from a lot of bad coding. I don't know why they don't just hire someone who can do the job right, if they can't do it themselves. Even if they don't have the budget to hire someone for a permanent position, they could at least get a summer intern to deal with the most important issues. I love FA, but they really need to find a professional to join their team.

In the mean time, just keep refreshing until you've nuked everything. If you have 9k submissions, and it deletes 3k at a time, you only need to refresh three times after the first 3k is gone. Yeah, it should do it all at once, but it only takes a few seconds to refresh, so they probably don't consider it a priority to fix.

I've offered my help a few times and did get their interest at one point, but contact only lasted for a single response. It's understandable considering how many messages they probably already get, but still. It's frustrating when you do make contact and end up getting absolutely nowhere after that.

That is frustrating. Hmm, maybe they couldn't give you a definite answer at the time, and then forgot about it? I would try again, but don't expect a quick response; I heard they've been behind on answering messages since they changed the navigation.

"We'd love your help" sounds like a pretty definite answer to me. This was a long time ago, though. I think it's been almost a year or so.

Happens more often than you'd think. It's happened to me a plethora of times over email, with them coming to me. *shrug*

it doesn't take a few seconds to refresh for me. it takes about half a minute to refresh and to actually finish nuking 3k it takes more than one minute (possible close to 2). and i didn't have 9k. i had 15k. i sometimes have more than 100k (i'm really that busy offline). the whole thing practically freezes my computer (but that's likely due to it being old and near death).

Humm. I might be able to write up a program to automate it. :D

don't worry about it. i'd like to see how long it takes fa to return it to normal.
